Our first blog!

It's about time we do this! You'd think we'd have found time over the last 7 months to write in a blog! But I suppose now is as good a time as any to update you on the fun we've been having since July 24, 2009!!!

Zach is attending UCO majoring in Music Education! Fall of '09 was his chance to prove himself to the directors and his work definitely paid off when he became one of UCO's newest DRUM MAJORS!!! Starting this fall, he will lead the UCO Stampede of Sound the way he has always dreamed! We couldn't be more thrilled! Aside from marching band, Zach is also involved in basketball band at UCO and has started sax lessons as well. Away from school, Zach works as a driving instructor for Merkley's Driving School. Although he has nearly died quite a few times, he enjoys his job and has even made some close friends there!

I (Carrie) recently started a new job at an optometry clinic downtown and I am learning more and more every day. Although I miss my friends and the animals from the veterinary clinic, getting out of there definitely was the right decision! I haven't given up easily on the animals though! I've made contact with a good friend of mine about volunteering for the Great Plains Mastiff Rescue and can't wait to get started! They really make a difference!

Our babies are growing so much! Toby is 3 and Tazer is just going on 17 weeks! They keep us on our toes every day! They wrestle and play and they're just so happy to be brothers! We love our boys!

Alright, well there's the update for now! Hope everyone is doing well, and I hope I can figure out how to add friends to view this thing! I guess we'll find out!!!
